Role Overview
The Director, Human Capital Services Transformation is accountable for
designing, enabling, and scaling a future-ready Human Capital Services operating model
across the Group.
The role drives the transformation of
end-to-end HC value chains
(Hire-to-Retire, Learning, Employee Experience) through
process standardization, service design, digital enablement, data-driven insight, and automation
, while preserving the flexibility required by diverse verticals.
This role serves as the
primary transformation partner to the Group Chief People Officer and Vertical CHROs
, translating people strategy into
scalable, high-quality, insight-led HC services
delivered through Group Services.
Human Capital Services Operating Model Strategy
- Co-define with the VP HC Services Pillar and GCPO the
- target HC services operating model
- , including scope, service tiers, GS vs vertical splits, and sourcing strategy.
- Translate Group people strategy into
- standardized HC capabilities
- , service designs, and transformation roadmaps.
- Balance enterprise standardization with
- vertical-specific workforce and regulatory needs
- .
End-to-End HC Process & Service Transformation
- Lead transformation of
- Hire-to-Retire and related HC value chains
- , focusing on experience, efficiency, control, and scalability.
- Drive
- process harmonization, simplification, and automation
- , eliminating fragmentation across entities and verticals.
- Embed
- controls-by-design
- , data quality standards, and compliance requirements into HC processes.
- Digital & Technology Enablement (in partnership with Group IT)
- Act as the
- HC Services transformation authority
- across HR platforms (HCM, ATS, LMS, performance, workforce analytics).
- Partner with Group IT / Strategy &Value Creation to define
- HC target architectures
- , integration, AI capability, and roadmap priorities.
- Ensure HC solutions are
- employee-centric, secure, compliant, and scalable
- , aligned to Group architecture & data security standards
Workforce Data, Analytics & Insight
- Champion the use of
- workforce data and analytics
- to support strategic decision-making (e.g., workforce planning, productivity, attrition, skills, cost-to-serve).
- Partner with Strategy & Value Creation and Finance to develop
- people economics and workforce ROI models
- .
- Enable predictive and prescriptive insights to support GCPO, CHROs, and business leaders
Employee & Manager Experience Design
- Lead the design of
- consumer-grade employee and manager experiences
- across HC touchpoints.
- Drive self-service, guided workflows, and proactive support models that reduce friction and improve satisfaction
Stakeholder Leadership & Change Enablement
- Act as a trusted advisor to the
GCPO and Vertical CHROs
- on HC service strategy, transformation priorities, and trade-offs.
- Lead complex change initiatives impacting employees, managers, and HR teams.
- Align HR, Operations, IT, Finance, and Risk stakeholders around common outcomes and value metrics.
Value Realization & Continuous Improvement
- Define clear
- success metrics
- for HC transformation (cost-to-serve, cycle time, experience, data quality, compliance).
- Track and realize benefits from HC initiatives, ensuring sustained value delivery.
- Establish a culture of
- continuous improvement and service excellence
- within HC Services.
- About you:
- The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
Qualifications, Experiences and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- **10–15+ years’ experience**
- in HR transformation, shared services, consulting, or enterprise HC operations.
- Demonstratable experience in deployment of AI-enabled solutions in the Human Capital services domain
- Demonstrated experience transforming
- HC services at scale
- in complex, multi-entity organizations.
- Strong understanding of
- HC operating models, HR technology ecosystems, and workforce analytics
- .
- Proven ability to operate credibly with
- senior HR, business, and technology leaders
- .
