Role overview

Material Master platform ownership

• Govern the Material Master data model in stewardship tools and understand its dependencies, taxonomy, and downstream manufacturing and logistics impacts.
• Own data creation, change management, and validation tooling, including Syniti/DSP and middleware integrations with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Translate global and local views, plant and storage location parameters, BOM configurations, and regulatory metadata into technical specifications and tool rules.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, feature prioritization, and release roadmaps with IT delivery, architecture, and business stewards.

Automation and process improvement

• Optimize material creation, change, and plant extension workflows to reduce manual bottlenecks, redundant checks, and handoff delays.
• Design and implement automation using business rule engines, validation scripts, API integrations, and low-code orchestration platforms.
• Apply generative AI, including Gemini, and machine learning to support validation, request interpretation, anomaly detection, and documentation.
• Benchmark master data management and supply chain automation practices for a scalable operating model.

Quality and compliance

• Partner with Quality Assurance, Computer Systems Validation, and Regulatory teams to ensure tooling, automation bots, and scripts meet GxP and audit standards.
• Build automated, GxP-compliant data governance pre-checks and validation rules.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid working model with three office days and two remote days per week.
• The role is based at the Hyderabad Tech Center, and candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the Material Master data domain and technical product management.
• Expertise with material data creation and maintenance tools, including Syniti/DSP and integrations with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to translate complex Material Master requirements, such as plant and storage location parameters, BOM configurations, and regulatory metadata, into technical specifications and tool rules.
• Experience with supply chain and manufacturing data processes and stewardship workflows.
• Ability to design and deliver workflow automation using business rule engines, validation scripts, API integrations, and low-code orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of generative AI and machine learning applications for data validation, anomaly detection, and documentation.
• Ability to work with Quality Assurance, Computer Systems Validation, and Regulatory teams to meet GxP and audit standards.
