RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owning AI-assisted data reconciliation system and ETL
  • Manage complicated data projects partnered enterprise data engineering team
  • Use AI tools to develop new data pipelines and validation tools
  • Build AI-native applications to solve data problems
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis
  • Potentially building advanced machine learning models leverage big data and high-performance computing tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in top universities with concentrations in computer science, data science, statistics, or any other related quantitative fields
  • 3-5 years of industry work experience as data engineer or data scientist
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with or without AI tools
  • Strong knowledge in database design and operation, data structure
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining software and data infrastructure using Claude Code or any other substitutes
  • Extraordinary analytical, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills are required
  • Pro-active, detail oriented, and deadline driven
  • Tracking record of building and deploying agentic AI application into production is plus
  • Knowledge in high performance computing and big-data tools are plus
  • Insurance industry work experience, especially with annuities is plus
  • This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.Base Salary Range$145,000—$165,000 USD
