Associate Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

Daily Work

• Design, develop, and maintain C, C++, and Python software modules.
• Develop and test cloud platform components for distributed environments.
• Support cloud infrastructure integration, validation, and automation.
• Use test automation, debugging, and root cause analysis to improve software quality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and open-source contributions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills and Python scripting experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, software development methods, debugging, and Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, StarlingX, cloud-native technologies, or distributed systems is an asset.
• Test automation, CI/CD, edge computing, telecommunications, 5G, and open-source development experience are assets.
