Firm Overview

Cambridge Associates is a global investment firm serving endowments, foundations, pension plans, and ultra-high-net-worth private clients.

The firm provides outsourced CIO, non-discretionary portfolio management, and investment consulting services.

The firm has offices across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

Role Overview

The Client Solutions Associate will join the Middle East and Africa practice.

The role is primarily desk-based rather than heavily client-facing externally.

The associate will coordinate opportunity coverage, conduct research, respond to RFPs, create PowerPoint materials, and track activity in a CRM system.

The role requires teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to manage many detail-sensitive efforts simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of the firm's investment services, processes, and philosophy and articulate its capabilities internally.
  • Map clients, prospects, and influencers and coordinate engagement and outreach plans.
  • Research opportunities, evaluate them against business acceptance criteria, and support revenue and profitability goals.
  • Participate in client and prospect calls, prepare briefing documents, and write proposal letters and RFP responses.
  • Prepare meeting materials, schedule prospective client meetings, and coordinate meeting rehearsals with investment teams.
  • Update the CRM system, report on trends, and share industry and competitor insights with colleagues.
  • Collaborate with client solutions, marketing, leadership, investment, legal, and finance teams.

Qualifications

  • Excellent client solutions experience within the institutional investment industry.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong listening, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple efforts.
  • Ability to work independently with direct responsibility and partner effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and strive for results.
  • Undergraduate degree is required.
  • An existing network in the Middle East and Africa region is a plus.
