What You Will Do
- As an Associate Buyer, you'll help keep our supply chain running smoothly by: Managing purchase order activity including supplier confirmations, order tracking, ETA updates, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. Investigating and resolving order issues by working with suppliers, buyers, and distribution centers to address shipment discrepancies, receiving concerns, product availability challenges, and supplier variances. Serving as a communication hub between suppliers, purchasing, sales, and distribution teams to provide timely updates on inventory availability, delivery expectations, and product information. Supporting purchasing operations through order expediting, obtaining shipping and sourcing information, and assisting with global sourcing and logistics activities when needed. Contributing to team success by supporting special projects, assisting with onboarding and training efforts, and providing backup support across the purchasing organization. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent work experience. One to three years of experience in operations, supply chain, customer service, sales, distribution, or a related field. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. One to three years of purchasing, supply chain, inventory management, or distribution experience. Experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders. Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and follow through to resolution. Why Join Us?
