Team and Purpose

Responsibilities

• Research and propose statistical and machine learning models for business requirements.
• Formulate problems using business metrics and measure the impact of machine learning techniques.
• Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data against clear objectives.
• Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models in production or help build a supporting platform.
• Work with engineering teams to take data science projects into production.
• Communicate project progress and findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline is required or preferred depending on the stated education line.

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of machine learning and statistics, including hypothesis testing, forecasting, and time series analysis.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, or engineering aspects of ML model deployment.
• Proficiency in data analysis, mathematics, probability, and statistical analysis.
• The mandatory skills list includes Machine Learning, Python, Big Data Skills, R, and Statistics.
• Preferred technologies include PySpark, Snowflake, and REST or Fast APIs.

Additional Qualifications

• Preferred experience includes optimization problems, customer analytics, market-mix models, cross-selling and upselling models, LLMs, NLP, chatbots, causal models, A/B testing, recommendation systems, supply chain planning, ML engineering, and MLOps.
• The role requires effective communication, multitasking, self-learning, abstraction, experimentation, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
