• This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join their growing and highly successful team.
• The role will focus on direct private equity investments in Asia, across a wide range of sectors.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A or be an investor at a top tier private equity firm.
• What the job involves
• Support in the evaluation, execution and monitoring of global private markets investments, including co-investments
• Conduct financial modelling, including LBOs and investment analysis for new opportunities
• Prepare investment memos, presentations and materials for the internal investment committee
• Assist in due diligence across commercial, financial and operational workstreams
• Work closely with senior team members to monitor portfolio performance and provide analytical insights
• Who we are looking for
• Experience of working in the M&A team of a top-tier investment bank. Alternatively, experience working in a private equity role with prior investment banking exposure
• Outstanding academics from a top-tier university
• Strong business acumen and high professional integrity
• Native-level or fluent in an Asian language (E.g. Japanese, Korean etc.) in addition to English is highly desirable
