About This Role
Overview
We are seeking an Associate Architect to join a leading international architectural design consultancy in Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect and project leader to play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across the UAE and wider region.
The ideal candidate will be a confident project runner with a strong architectural design background and proven experience leading projects through the early design stages, particularly Pre-Concept, Concept, and Schematic Design.
You will be highly organised, client-facing, and capable of managing complex design processes while coordinating with multidisciplinary and international teams.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to the successful delivery of landmark projects developed in collaboration with studios across Europe and Asia, offering exceptional exposure to some of the best design talent across the business globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects through Pre-Concept, Concept, and Schematic Design stages
- Drive design excellence while ensuring project objectives, timelines, and client expectations are achieved
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate and collaborate with international design teams across multiple studios
- Oversee project delivery, team coordination, and design management processes
- Prepare and present high-quality design presentations and reports
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Contribute to strategic discussions around project opportunities and studio growth
- Over time, gain exposure to business development, bids, commercial management, and client acquisition activities
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of high-quality built and conceptual work
- Proven experience within leading international architectural consultancies
- Strong project-running experience across early design stages
- Previous experience delivering high-profile projects within the UAE or GCC region
- Currently based in the UAE with regional market knowledge
- Excellent design, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience collaborating with international teams and multidisciplinary consultants
