Overview
Assistant Mechanic will provide hands-on support to mechanics in maintaining and repairing plant workshop equipment.
This role is a learning and support position, requiring technical aptitude, willingness to assist in mechanical tasks, and adherence to safety practices
Repairs & Maintenance
- Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment (RS, ECH, ITV, and other MEWS).
- Provide basic mechanical support such as cleaning, dismantling, and reassembling parts.
- Prepare tools, spare parts, and equipment required for maintenance activities.
Preventive Maintenance
- Help conduct inspections of equipment to identify early signs of wear or malfunction.
- Support PM, CM & refueling team during maintenance.
Workshop Operations
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organize tools and spare parts.
Safety Compliance
- Always follow DPWorld workshop safety protocols.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all tasks.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly
