Overview
- Assisting in planning warehouse operations with the seniors, including space layout, space utilization, materials in and out flows and warehouse resources’ management with complete accountability.
- Executing warehouse operations utilizing labor workforce and managing receipt, storage and issuance of finished materials.
- Managing finished material stock controls and movements as per demands and needs.
- Supporting the objective of efficient finished material issuance lead time.
- Ensuring the accuracy of organization wide finished material stock controls and movements as per demands and needs.
- Periodical execution of inventory reconciliation, analyzing stock quantities, consumption and loss reports.
- Ensure safe storage of hazardous material.
- Ensure proper segregation, orderly and accessible arrangements of finished material, proactively identifying the defected materials reported to the concerns and practice of FIFO.
- Maintain SOPs as instructed & maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
- Ensure finished material is properly handled and stored to prevent damage, contamination, and/or loss.
- Ensure all pathways/aisles cleared of stock with easy access to all firefighting facilities in case of emergency.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Executing all the activities with applicable ISO standards and workplace policies and adheres to all safety guidelines.
- Ensuring the compliance & closure of non-conformities.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks and maintain the documentation.
- Maintain log for received finished materials. Record discrepancies, shortage or damaged materials received.
- Participate in implementing effective improvements and solutions as instructed.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Tracking the lead time for completeness and accuracy.
- Learn and expand and carry out any other responsibilities that seniors may assign from time to time.
- Supporting the team’s overall objectives as a team member.
- Support the organization in maintaining its certification and ensuring adherence to IMS and BRC Standards. This includes upholding high standards of quality, food safety, environmental safety, occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance, and other operational procedures.
- Adequate knowledge and understanding of IMS and BRC standard requirements.
- Be aware of your specific roles and responsibilities in system compliance and the importance of maintaining certifications.
- Be familiar with the company's SOPs and understand how these procedures align with standards for food safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Basic knowledge of all relevant regulations applicable to the organization.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices as defined in company policies and procedures.
- Adhere GMP guidelines, including proper hand hygiene, cleanliness, use of PPEs, and prevention of contamination.
- Actively participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
