Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance finance and L&A accounting principles.
- Proven track record of managing large‐scale transformation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of month‐end close processes and regulatory compliance.
- Hands‐on experience with ERP systems (e.g., People Soft, Oracle) and advanced Excel/Power BI.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‐performing teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own end‐to‐end finance processes for the Insurance L&A segment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead month‐end and quarter‐end closing activities, delivering timely and error‐free financial statements.
- Drive transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity.
- Manage service delivery performance against SLAs and continuously enhance operational quality.
- Act as primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and aligning expectations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for finance operations.
- Coordinate cross‐functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Prepare and present executive‐level reports and insights to senior leadership.
