The clinic is seeking an assistant veterinarian or junior veterinarian for its pet clinic.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with pets in the UAE.
- MOCCAE veterinarian license or eligibility to qualify for one.
Clinical duties
- Assist the doctor with surgeries and consultations.
- Consult with cats, dogs, and birds; administer medication and care for hospitalized pets.
- Guide pet owners on their pets’ needs.
- Perform castration, spaying, wound management, and skin stitches.
- Understand anesthesia protocols.
- Collect blood samples, run blood tests, prepare slides and smears, and examine them under a microscope.
- Attend emergencies after clinic hours.
