Support the Store Manager in driving store performance, building a customer-centric culture, and developing team capability.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to deliver sales performance and targets through effective selling.
- Help customers with home-styling solutions and recommendations; identify needs and use appropriate upselling and cross-selling.
- Coach and guide the sales team to achieve targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Support rostering, financial performance, administration, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Help develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer service, and store performance.
- Regularly lift, carry, and move products of varying sizes.
Experience and capabilities
- 2–3+ years of retail sales experience with a proven record of achieving targets.
- Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to coach and motivate teams, solve problems, and balance customer care, team development, and administration.
- Interest in home styling, furniture, or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of safely handling store products as part of daily duties.
