Assistant Store Manager

Mission

Store leadership and sales

• Perform store management functions in the Store Manager’s absence and support the team’s sales performance and profitability.
• Communicate daily sales goals, help set team targets, and track ATV, UPT, and conversion rate using the Linkage book.
• Lead by example in customer service, apply the six selling steps, build a customer database, and drive upselling and cross-selling.
• Support team leadership, motivation, product knowledge, and development; coordinate support staff activities and team schedules.
• Support sales campaigns, team meetings, daily priorities, and commercial development based on market and competitor awareness.

Store operations

• Ensure front- and back-office procedures are followed and daily operations are completed correctly.
• Maintain store appearance, merchandise presentation, and cleanliness; help ensure customer services such as repairs, exchanges, gift vouchers, and postal delivery are offered.
• Help keep stock at appropriate levels and organize inventory.
• Watch for potential theft and help minimize risk.

Requirements

• Proven successful experience in retail sales and store management.
• People- and customer-management skills, strong organization, and excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations, apply sales strategies, and negotiate effectively.
• Fluent English; other language skills depend on the needs of the market.
