Job Description
- Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales KPI targets (revenue, margin, volume)
- Develop and expand own customer portfolio through proactive prospecting and personal network
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities independently (cold/warm market development)
- Build and manage a self-generated sales pipeline with clear conversion accountability
- Conduct field sales activities including customer visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams
- Convert new accounts into active revenue-generating customers and ensure initial onboarding execution
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline updates, and weekly WIN/LOSS reporting
- Provide weekly sales activity and performance reports to management using Sales Force
Skills & Competencies
- Strong ability to independently identify and convert new business opportunities
- Result-driven mindset with strong ownership of KPI and revenue targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients at all levels
- Ability to collaborate effectively with pricing, operations, and internal support teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in logistics / freight forwarding sales
- Can join immediately (preferred: visit visa or short notice availability)
- Existing customer network is highly preferred (self-generated business capability required)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Junior-mid level position
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from sales and customers.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management
