Assistant Research Scientist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data, conduct literature reviews, and prepare technical reports.
• Assist with structural concept design and evaluation and contribute to testing protocols.
• Document findings for internal and client-facing use.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers, organize project data, and help prepare presentations and technical documentation.
• Inform product improvements and client solutions through research and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and research capabilities, including data collection, literature review, and technical report writing.
• Foundational engineering or applied-sciences knowledge; telecommunications, structural engineering, or infrastructure design is preferred.
• Proficiency with common office and data tools such as spreadsheets and presentation software; engineering or statistical software familiarity is advantageous.
• Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to present technical information to multidisciplinary teams.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively and manage tasks across office and remote settings.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field; current enrollment in a related program is also considered.
• Interest in infrastructure development in emerging markets and willingness to learn about telecommunications and steel structure solutions.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid work arrangement with some work from home.
