Assistant Packaging Development Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing primary packaging and innovative delivery systems.
• Coordinate pack testing and standards with Engineering and Quality.
• Support CPA alignment with the NPD team and flag project risks.
• Manage primary and secondary artwork from copy brief to finished artwork in line with CPAs.
• Take secondary packaging from concept through delivery.
• Coordinate purchase order timing with Supply Chain.
• Maintain relationships with packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Track packaging innovation and sustainability with suppliers.

Candidate requirements

• Packaging development background and technical strength in packaging development.
• At least 3 years' experience and knowledge of printing technology and packaging materials in FMCG.
• Excellent understanding of NPD project management and CPA management.
• Passion for packaging, beauty, and the artwork process; excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organised, self-driven, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; team-oriented can-do attitude.
