Assistant Operator

About This Role

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Machine Operator to support machine operations and production activities. The candidate will work closely with the Team Leader and Machine Operator to ensure smooth production flow, quality compliance, and timely completion of jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Team Leader.
• Assist machine operators in feeding raw materials into machines as instructed.
• Operate machines under the guidance of the Team Leader/Machine Operator.
• Report machine-related issues or breakdowns immediately to the Team Leader.
• Move production output to the next process line or work-in-progress area as instructed.
• Maintain and fill production records accurately.
• Ensure cards and packaging labels are properly matched and kept in sequence.
• Follow job instructions and counting procedures during receipt, production, and transfer processes.
• Assist operators in completing production jobs on time and as per the production plan.
• Update job progress and report non-conformances or production issues.
• Follow all procedures related to production, rejection handling, and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, identification, and storage of cards and rejected materials.
• Coordinate with QA inspectors, auditors, and team leaders to maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Support implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, security, quality, and operational standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Unit Head or Team Leader.

Requirements

• ITI or High School Pass.
• Physically fit to handle pallets, trolleys, and heavy materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to follow procedures and instructions carefully.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of production or machine operations.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to maintain production records accurately.

Minimum Experience: • 1-2 years of experience or fresher with ITI

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)
