Job Summary

A Payroll Candidate is responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related tasks for an organization.

This role involves maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, calculating salaries, bonuses, and deductions, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.

A payroll executive collaborates closely with HR and finance departments to streamline payroll processes and support employee satisfaction.

Payroll Processing

:

+ Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, bonuses, and deductions.

+ Ensure timely payroll disbursements in accordance with company policies.

Statutory Compliance

+ Handle statutory deductions like PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc., through vendor and ensure timely deposits from finance team.

+ Prepare MIS reports related to statutory returns, including income tax and labor law compliances.

Employee Records Management

+ Maintain accurate payroll records.

Manage salary revision activities.

+ Update employee master data for new hires, resignations, and salary revisions.

Reports And Reconciliations

+ Prepare payroll reports for management and finance departments.

+ Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.

Employee Support

+ Address payroll-related queries from employees.

+ Provide assistance regarding payslips, tax declarations, and benefits.

Audit Support

+ Assist in internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation.

Policy Adherence

+ Ensure payroll practices comply with company policies and labor laws.

Educational Qualification

: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, or a related field.

Experience

: 3 - 8 years of experience in payroll or HR operations.

Technical Skills

+ Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Keka, Tally, or SAP).

+ Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting.

+ Timely and error-free payroll processing.

+ Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

+ Accurate reporting and data maintenance.
