Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and monitor daily production activities according to the production schedule.
- Achieve production targets while maximizing productivity and operational efficiency.
- Lead multi‑shift production teams, ensuring optimal manpower deployment.
- Track line performance, process parameters, equipment uptime and loss control.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Engineering and other functions for seamless plant operations.
- Enforce GMP, GHP, SOPs, safety standards and company policies.
- Analyse performance data, identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare accurate shift reports, documentation and production MIS.
- Investigate deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions and support audits.
- Train and develop team members to enhance technical capability and workplace discipline.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology or related discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably FMCG or Food & Beverage.
- Proven experience managing high‑speed production lines and shift teams.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GHP and SOP compliance.
- Ability to analyse production data, control losses and drive productivity improvements.
- Excellent problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Effective cross‑functional coordination and communication abilities.
- Leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and production MIS tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
