We believe in putting people first and we are proud to have developed a work culture that fosters growth, collaboration and success.
About the role:
Our Brisbane Audit & Assurance team is experiencing unprecedented growth, with strong momentum over the past 12 months as we continue to win new work and expand our client base across a diverse range of industries. At the same time, we are proud of maintaining a people‐focused culture and a sustainable approach to delivery, including a genuine focus on reasonable working hours. Growth brings a wealth of opportunities for experienced professionals who are looking to build depth, influence, and long‐term career progression within a growing practice.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements, supporting high-quality audit delivery, and contributing to the continued development of the Brisbane Audit & Assurance practice. The role involves significant responsibility across project management, client interaction, and team leadership, working closely with Senior Managers and Partners to manage risk, quality and delivery outcomes.

- Manage multiple audit engagements concurrently, coordinating engagement teams, timelines and resources to ensure delivery of quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Mentor, train and support audit team members, fostering capability development while ensuring compliance with RSM methodology, quality standards and firm policies.
- Develop business development capability in preparation for progression to Manager, including supporting client relationship management, contributing to proposals, and identifying opportunities to expand or deepen client engagements in collaboration with Partners, Directors and Managers.
- About you:
- You are a detail-oriented audit professional with strong leadership skills, capable of managing both projects and people. Your analytical mindset and effective communication enable you to build lasting client relationships while delivering high-quality audit outcomes.
