Role Description
The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that projects, sales activities, and service delivery meet company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Managing Director in overseeing daily business operations.
- Drive business development and identify new market opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the sales, projects, and operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with developers, hotel operators, architects, interior designers, and consultants.
- Monitor project execution to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Develop sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Review quotations, contracts, tenders, and project profitability.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and finance departments.
- Represent Murano Lighting in client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Prepare management reports, forecasts, and strategic business plans.
Requirements
- Must be an electrical engineer.
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience, preferably in decorative lighting, architectural lighting, hospitality interiors, construction, or related industries.
- Proven leadership and business development skills.
- Strong commercial and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- UAE/GCC market experience is highly desirable.
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
