The poolside ambiance enhances the experience, with some locations offering a lively atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy exceptional cuisine.

The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in leading daily operations, driving commercial performance, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the successful launch and ongoing success of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Lead and inspire front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective floor management, guest engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor and achieve financial objectives, including sales, labor costs, and profitability targets.
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.
  • Assist with pre-opening preparations, including team mobilization, training, and operational setup.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role as Assistant General Manager within luxury & lifestyle standalone restaurants.
  • Strong background in high-volume lifestyle dining, Japanese, Mediterranean, or festive dining concepts.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large front-of-house teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of budgeting, P&L management, and operational KPIs.
  • Excellent guest relations skills with experience managing VIP clientele.
  • Experience in pre-opening projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable.
