Assistant Front Store Manager, Hourly Part Time Day

Role summary

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to improve customer experience, traffic, and profitability, including backroom standards.
• Support labor scheduling and Workforce Management use; help maintain staffing levels needed to operate the business.
• Comply with HR standards and support hiring in all departments except Pharmacy.
• Maintain wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
• Promote Blue Culture and engagement; lead and motivate staff through core values.
• Plan inventory management, control expenses, and provide mentorship and staff development.

Qualifications and experience

• Previous retail management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the business, lead by example, and support corporate programs.
• Works effectively with the management team.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen; relationship building with internal and external agencies.
• Effective time management, prioritization, organization, and planning skills.
• Sound judgment for inventory planning and expense control.

Pay

• Hiring range is $19.55–$22.75 per hour.
