Assist the Front Store Manager with store resources and achieving store objectives.
Focus on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor.
Operations and staffing
- Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience, traffic, and profitability.
- Work with the management team to keep standards in effect throughout the store, including the backroom.
- Help manage labour scheduling and use WFM to maximize labour productivity.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for effective operations.
- Comply with HR standards and support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy.
- Maintain wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
- Promote Blue Culture and staff engagement; lead and motivate employees.
- Provide mentorship and support staff development.
Qualifications
- Previous retail management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the business, lead by example, and support corporate programs.
- Ability to work effectively with the management team.
- Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Business and financial acumen; ability to build relationships with internal and external agencies.
- Effective time management, organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Sound judgment and decision making, including inventory preparation and expense control.

Pay and employment
