• *Job Summary*
• An *Assistant Foreman* supervises a team in our autocare workshop, assisting the Foreman in planning, coordinating, and executing tasks to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• This role requires leadership skills, technical knowledge of vehicle services, and the ability to solve problems on the floor.
• *Key Responsibilities*
• *Supervision & Training*: Direct and assist the crew, supervise daily workshop operations, and train new and existing employees on procedures and safety
• *Project Coordination*: Assist in planning and scheduling service jobs, allocate tasks to technicians, and coordinate delivery of parts, materials, and equipment
• *Safety & Compliance*: Enforce workshop safety regulations, conduct daily safety briefings, and ensure all work complies with company policies and UAE standards
• *Performance Monitoring*: Monitor technician productivity and work quality, check job cards, and manage daily time and labor reports
• *Problem-Solving*: Troubleshoot issues related to workers, service quality, or processes and expedite solutions to avoid delays
• *Direct Labor*: Perform direct labor as a working member of the team, including operating equipment, vehicle inspection, or maintenance tasks when needed
• *Key Requirements*
• *Education*: High school diploma minimum. ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical preferred
• *Experience*: 1-3 years in automotive workshop, service center, or autocare industry. Previous experience as technician/mechanic required
• *Technical Knowledge*: Thorough understanding of vehicle servicing, denting/painting, detailing, oil change, tyre, battery, and AC services
• *Leadership*: Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a team of technicians
• *Communication*: Effectively communicate with crew members, supervisors, and customers in English & Hindi
• *Physical Stamina*: Ability to perform tasks that require moderate to significant physical effort in workshop conditions
• *Problem-Solving*: Capacity to identify and resolve technical and logistical problems quickly
• *Other*: Should be familiar with job card systems and basic reporting
