Assistant Floor Manager

About This Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Floor Manager to support daily floor operations and ensure a high standard of service. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Job Description

• Oversee daily restaurant floor operations
• Ensure excellent guest experience by maintaining high service standards
• Supervise and guide service staff during shifts
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
• Monitor staff grooming, attendance, and performance
• Assist in staff training and onboarding
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support in table allocation, reservations, and floor planning
• Assist in opening and closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in a restaurant
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Experience with POS systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Team leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Multilingual is an advantage
• Willing to work in Al Ain
