Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Assistant Finance Manager** to join our Doha office.
This role supports the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving effective financial planning and control across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Qatar
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
- Monitor general ledger accuracy and assist in month-end closing activities
- Prepare management reports and financial performance analysis
- Support internal controls implementation and process improvements
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit preparation and follow-up
- Analyze variances and provide insights to support decision-making
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
