Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior Estimators to quantify construction elements from PDF plans, 2D CAD files, and 3D models.
  • Develop and refine scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring all quantity take-offs are comprehensive and precise.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform accurate quantity take-offs and maintain detailed records.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing bid documents, ensuring all necessary information is included and accurate.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other documents to accurately assess project requirements.
  • Support the Senior Estimators in compiling data for cost estimates and budget preparation.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with quantity take-offs and estimating in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other estimating tools.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality in all work performed.
