In this vital role, you will work directly under the Director of Engineering to oversee the sophisticated Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) technology that drives our operations.
We are looking for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to ensure our facility continues to set regional standards.
What You Will Do
- **Operational Leadership:**
- Manage daily engineering and maintenance operations while supervising and leading engineering teams to ensure task efficiency.
- **System Oversight:**
- Support the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced RAS infrastructure while monitoring system performance and water quality for optimal production.
- **Strategic Contribution:**
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, cost optimization, and the development of business strategies for operational growth.
- **Collaboration:**
- Act as a key liaison between engineering, hatchery, procurement, and management teams.
- **Reporting & Compliance:**
- Prepare technical reports and performance analyses while ensuring full compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- **Education:**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aquaculture, or a related engineering field.
- **Experience:**
- A minimum of 10 years of experience specifically in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- **Skills:**
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication and presentation skills, and a solid foundation in financial management.
- **Flexibility:**
- An adaptable mindset with the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work extended hours and weekends to meet operational demands.
