Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Civil Engineer role based in Sharjah.
The role supports planning, design, and oversight of civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, earthworks, sewerage systems, and related structures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering drawings and specifications, coordinate with site supervisors and contractors, and review project plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Collect and analyze technical data, participate in site inspections, and prepare reports.
- Support quality, safety, and environmental procedures on civil infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Candidates should have Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Design, and practical civil project planning skills.
- Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design skills are required.
- Candidates should interpret engineering drawings and be familiar with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
- Good Microsoft Office skills and understanding of construction methodologies, quality control, and health and safety standards are required.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative working skills are required.
- Prior internship or 1–3 years of relevant UAE or GCC experience is advantageous.
