Assistant Branch Operations Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for branch operations when the Branch Operations Manager is absent.
• Follow and model company safety and security procedures.
• Support team member training and development.
• Assist with staffing, performance reviews, expense management, and budgeting.
• Maintain a customer service-oriented approach.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver orders or collect returned merchandise.

Required Qualifications

• High school or secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Availability to open and close the warehouse on weekdays and Saturdays as needed.
• Applicable driver’s license requirements must be met before delivery driving.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and understand staffing and multiple department functions.
• Understanding of P&L and willingness to obtain powered equipment certification.

Additional Skills

• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are preferred but not required.
• Basic mathematics and ability to read and write detailed instructions are expected.
