Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Auditor based in Doha, Qatar.
The Assistant Auditor will be responsible for supporting and conducting audits to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
include reviewing financial statements, analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring internal controls are implemented and followed.
The role requires collaboration with various departments to assess processes and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in auditing practices, financial analysis, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify process inefficiencies
- Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and relevant financial software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently manage audits with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are an advantage
- Experience in the wine or beverage industry is a bonus
