About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and student supervision in Clinical Psychology and related disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Clinical Psychology and related disciplines.
- Develop and update course materials in accordance with international academic standards.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish regularly in Scopus-indexed journals, preferably in Q1 and Q2 ranked journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance activities.
- Engage in academic advising, student mentoring, and community service initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research projects and grant applications.
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees.
Qualifications
- PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Strong record of scholarly publications in Scopus-indexed journals, with preference given to candidates with publications in Q1 and Q2 journals.
- Evidence of active research and a clear research agenda.
- University-level teaching experience in Clinical Psychology.
- Experience supervising student research projects and theses.
- Professional clinical experience and relevant licensure are desirable.
- Must be able to teach in both Arabic and English Languages
Preferred Skills
- International teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and grants.
- Experience with academic accreditation and quality assurance processes.
- Strong collaborative and interdisciplinary research background.
