About the Role

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you responsible for managing the day to day financial and administration functions includes:
• Maintain and follows sound accounting practices and procedures.
• Experience in month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger journal preparation and posting.
• Ability to review, analyse, and understand Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and identify key business drivers and variances.
• Assist the Finance Manager and business stakeholders with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Creating, reconciling, and reporting an accounting pack with sufficient supporting documentation.
• Review and process the group fixed asset register
• Perform inventory reconciliations and support inventory control processes
• Create, distribute, and review annual branch FBT pack.
• Prepare group carbon emissions’ report.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the team in terms of quality and productivity.
• Ad hoc assignments, projects and performing any other functions as required by the Finance department.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Degree Qualified
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Experience using Power Query and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and process improvement will be highly regarded.
• Proven experience in managing end of month and forecasting processes.
• A minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role with strong and proven work ethics.
• Demonstrates positive involvement and interaction with the overall team both at an individual, team & management level.
