The Assistant Accountant/Cashier role combines customer payment handling with accounting and financial reporting duties.
The posting requests someone who can join immediately.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process customer payments; operate cash registers, issue receipts, and reconcile cash.
- Provide courteous customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
- Prepare daily transaction reports and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Record, verify, allocate, and reconcile bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.
- Review expenses, bank statements, and financial records and resolve discrepancies.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Monitor payments, expenses, budgets, and financial activities for accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Analyze financial data and communicate financial or operational issues to the Finance Manager or Center Manager.
- Maintain accounting records and ensure effective use of accounting and financial software.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in cashiering, accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of cash handling, accounting principles, and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or financial software.
- Strong numerical, organizational, reconciliation, communication, and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
