Asset Protection Associate

Position summary

Store security and investigations

• Conduct daily store patrols and verify doors, showcases, and security features are functioning properly.
• Investigate financial and physical shrink and communicate findings to store leadership.
• Conduct or support investigations into internal theft, external theft, organized retail crime, and assigned ethics cases.
• Escalate internal investigation information to the Market Loss Prevention Manager under company guidelines.

Emergency response and reporting

• Support store evacuation and emergency procedures, and participate in store task team responsibilities as needed.
• Carry out external apprehensions when required, following company policies and legal standards.
• Gather information from multiple sources and communicate issues and findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Complete additional duties supporting evolving business needs and asset protection priorities.

Availability and physical demands

• Be open to varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Stand for extended periods, bend, and lift inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and product organization tasks with attention to detail.

Minimum qualification

• A Security Guard License is required.

Pay

• The minimum hourly rate starts at $20.00.
