Role Description
The Asset Integrity Manager (part-time) will oversee the integrity, reliability, and life-cycle performance of critical assets for clients, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
This hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility as determined by project needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining asset integrity management plans, defining inspection and maintenance strategies, and coordinating risk-based inspection (RBI) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) activities.
The Asset Integrity Manager will review inspection and test results, assess degradation mechanisms, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely follow-up of integrity-related findings.
The role also involves preparing technical reports, advising stakeholders on asset risk and mitigation, supporting audits and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, maintenance, HSE, and engineering to optimize asset performance and extend asset life.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in asset integrity management, including inspection planning, corrosion and degradation assessment, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
- Proficiency with reliability and risk methodologies such as RBI, RCM, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
- Solid understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) and experience supporting regulatory compliance and audits.
- Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, asset life-cycle plans, and integrity management systems.
- Ability to analyze technical data, interpret inspection reports, and translate findings into practical recommendations and action plans.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and present technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively across on-site and remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related discipline); advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., API, NACE, CMRP) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, or heavy industry asset management, preferably in the GCC region.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and ethical, inclusive workplace practices.
