Role Description
The Asset Integrity Manager is a part-time role based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with flexibility to work from home.
The role is responsible for overseeing the integrity, reliability, and lifecycle performance of critical physical and digital assets used by the club, including lab equipment, hardware, software licenses, and data systems.
Day-to-day tasks include maintaining asset registers, coordinating inspections and preventive maintenance, tracking asset performance, and implementing integrity management plans and standards.
The Asset Integrity Manager will collaborate with technical leads, student project teams, and vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of assets.
The role also involves preparing reports, mitigating risks, recommending improvements, and supporting strategic planning for future asset investments.
Qualifications
- Asset integrity and reliability management skills, including experience with asset registers, lifecycle planning, and risk-based inspection or maintenance practices.
- Technical aptitude in engineering or technology environments, with the ability to understand lab equipment, hardware infrastructure, and digital systems used in AI and data projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data-driven decision-making, root-cause analysis, and basic familiarity with asset performance metrics or dashboards.
- Organizational and project coordination skills to manage schedules, maintenance activities, documentation, and communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage for local coordination and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a student or academic setting, supporting cross-functional teams and mentoring less-experienced team members.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance principles for technical or laboratory environments is beneficial.
- Experience in AI, data science, or IT infrastructure environments, even at a student or internship level, is an asset.
- Ability to manage part-time hours effectively in a hybrid work model
