Role Description
This part-time Health Specialist role at بيت التوظيف is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.
The Health Specialist will support clients and employees by assessing health needs, providing basic health guidance, and promoting safe and healthy workplace practices.
Daily tasks include conducting health screenings, documenting findings, and coordinating with medical professionals or external providers when necessary.
The role also involves delivering health education sessions, supporting health promotion campaigns, and responding to health-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
The Health Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to identify health risks, recommend interventions, and ensure that all activities align with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to explain health information clearly, build rapport, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Customer Service skills to provide empathetic, responsive, and solution-focused support to clients and employees.
- Occupational Health and Medicine knowledge to assess workplace health risks, understand common conditions, and support appropriate interventions or referrals.
- Health Promotion experience to design or support wellness initiatives, deliver educational sessions, and encourage healthy behaviors.
- Relevant academic background in Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, or a related field.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, accurate records, and comply with applicable health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, electronic records) to manage documentation and communication.
- Prior experience in a clinical, occupational health, or wellness setting in the UAE is an advantage.
