This position reports to:

• Assemble build and test medium and high voltage electrical vacuum switches utilizing standardized tools and test equipment in the MVR department
• Interpret production drawings and work instructions, which include wire schematics, outlines, BOMs and wire diagrams
• Utilize internal systems to access drawings and files
• Relay any discrepancies/non-conformance related issues to the responsible individual
• Complete all documentation and follow specific work instructions as required
• Must be able to work in a team environment while interfacing with team members that include product/manufacturing engineering and other internal/external customers
• Assist in training other team members as needed
• Maintain and sustain 5S processes and safety practices, including the use of PPE as required
• All other duties, as assigned

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and hand‐tool knowledge
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, energetic attitude; flexible with cross‐training and overtime
• Willingness to learn new processes
• Able to lift 40+ lbs
• Able to stand or walk for 8 hours
• Able to reach, lift, and pull

While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay starting at $19-$21. 1st shift hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
