Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Ability to understand basic math, read and follow applicable work instructions
• Ability to work (both sitting and standing for periods of time) in a standard rotation
• Completes work with quality in mind, minimum errors, rework, and waste. Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to detect non-conforming product.
• Records data in a timely and accurate manner
• Works efficiently and at a rate consistent with the rotations and goals set for the area.
• Provide support or back-up duties in other work areas when requested
• Assist in training of others, as requested
• Actively support the site’s Continuous Improvement programs
• Adheres to all EHS policies and procedures, wears proper PPE. Participates in safety activities when requested and reports injury or illness promptly.
• Follow ergonomic principles in setting up workstation and chair height, positioning parts, job rotation, and participating in the scheduled stretching periods.
• Follow all company policies, specifically those relating to attendance and general behavior

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• A minimum of one (1) year of light assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Perform a variety of tasks safely though the day

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity is required to handle small parts
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and sit for periods of time
• The ability to handle daily repetitive work using hands and fingers
