Asbestos Analyst

You’ll carry out testing, inspection and reporting to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with SOCOTEC quality procedures and Health & Safety guidelines

Conducting asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance tests

Maintaining and calibrating equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Recording and issuing accurate analytical reports

Liaising with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver work to agreed timescales

Identifying opportunities to support SOCOTEC’s wider services

Must hold BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications (or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring)

Industry experience essential with proven track record of conducting a similar role

Hold a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good client-facing skills – confident in liaising with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection/report writing

Time management and ability to meet project deadlines
