Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Machine Learning Researcher to work on a Contractor basis.

This role involves leading and conducting research to train next-generation AI systems by applying domain expertise to real-world input.

The work directly shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform across domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the development of frontier AI models through advanced evaluations and reinforcement learning environments, with no prior AI experience required—your domain knowledge is the critical asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning and artificial intelligence domains to improve model performance.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms using frameworks such as TensorFlow.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate research breakthroughs into scalable and deployable solutions.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to the global AI/ML scholarly community through peer-reviewed papers or technical reports.
  • Continuously monitor industry advancements to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Document methodologies, experiments, and results clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders with precision and rigor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in areas such as finance, healthcare, or engineering that can be applied to AI training and evaluation—your real-world knowledge is essential.
  • Experience using TensorFlow to design and implement deep learning models, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
  • Ability to conduct independent research, design experiments, and analyze results with a critical and data-driven mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Commitment to contributing to open research and sharing insights with the broader AI/ML community through publications or public documentation.
