Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable machine‑learning pipelines that incorporate large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, and reinforcement‑learning environments.
• Collaborate with domain experts in finance, healthcare, and engineering to convert subject‑matter expertise into training data, evaluation metrics, and feedback loops.
• Implement secure, high‑performance AWS architectures—including SageMaker, EC2, and S3—to host AI workloads that meet stringent government compliance standards.
• Optimize model inference latency and cost efficiency through algorithmic improvements, quantization, and distributed computing techniques.
• Lead cross‑functional technical reviews, documenting design decisions, performance benchmarks, and risk assessments for stakeholders across AI labs and enterprise partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Python programming, with extensive experience building end‑to‑end ML solutions and integrating third‑party libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands‑on experience deploying large language models (e.g., GPT‑4, PaLM) and implementing retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines for domain‑specific tasks.
• Deep familiarity with Amazon Web Services, including the ability to architect, provision, and troubleshoot AI‑focused services at scale.
• Proven background in reinforcement learning, multi‑agent orchestration, or related research that enables the creation of reliable AI agents.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with non‑technical experts, translate their knowledge into actionable data, and present technical findings to senior leadership.
