- Develop and deliver age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned art lessons that incorporate drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media techniques.
- Foster a creative, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and artistic risk-taking.
- Assess student progress through regular critiques, portfolios, and formative/summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across interdisciplinary projects and school-wide events such as exhibitions, cultural festivals, and performances.
- Maintain up-to-date art supplies, equipment, and classroom resources, ensuring safety and organization in studio spaces.
- Engage with parents and guardians through progress reports, parent-teacher meetings, and art showcase events.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, curriculum reviews, and school improvement initiatives.
- Promote cultural diversity and global awareness through the study of international art movements and artists.
