Art Curator & Creative Designer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify artists, artworks, and creative concepts suitable for project requirements.
• Develop curatorial narratives, artwork concepts, and creative storytelling presentations.
• Assist in creating art proposals, mood boards, artist presentations, and artwork specifications.
• Coordinate with local and international artists, galleries, fabricators, and suppliers.
• Support the development of hospitality, commercial, residential, and public art programs.
• Prepare visual presentations, artwork layouts, and client-facing proposal documents.
• Conduct art market research and maintain artist databases and project archives.
• Assist in artwork selection, commissioning processes, and project coordination.
• Collaborate with internal design teams to integrate artwork within interior, architectural, and public spaces.
• Participate in site visits, artist meetings, gallery visits, and project presentations when required.
• Support artwork production, installation planning, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, Visual Arts, Museum Studies, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in art consultancy, gallery management, curatorial practice, design, or a related creative field.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary art, cultural projects, and creative industries.
• Excellent visual presentation and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software.
• Strong research, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with artists, galleries, museums, cultural institutions, or art consultancies.
• Knowledge of public art, placemaking, sculpture, and commissioned artwork projects.
• Experience preparing artwork proposals and curatorial presentations.
• Understanding of fabrication processes and artwork production is an advantage.
• Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
