Pay Range
- The stated pay range is $29.90 to $36.21 per hour.
- The pay range applies to listed jurisdictions, including New York and other specified states.
Role Overview
Brink’s is hiring an Armed Security Cash Transport Guard for low-profile light vehicle routes.
The role transports, protects, and delivers cash and valuables for financial institutions, retailers, and other customers.
The guard works in a performance-oriented environment and is responsible for secure, precise, and professional route operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Guard employees, the armored truck, transported liability, and other assets at all times.
- Pick up and deliver valuables at customer locations.
- Dispatch personnel to support successful transactions.
- Remain alert to attacks, accidents, security threats, and other conditions that could cause loss.
- Reconcile customer deposits and receipts for valuables handled during daily operations.
- Follow all procedures, policies, and regulations governing firearms.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Lift at least 50 pounds.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Satisfy applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
- Obtain a guard card and any other required licenses.
- Maintain tactical procedures and complete required internal training.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid firearms permit before hire is strongly preferred.
- Previous security experience in an armed environment is preferred.
- A military background is preferred.
Schedule and Routes
- Work first shift Monday through Friday with required weekend rotations.
- Assist with both Yonkers and Brooklyn routes based on business needs.
- Each shift starts and ends at the Yonkers branch.
