We are looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager

Middle East

(m/f/d) for the sale of

Kraft paper and potentially other paper grades

. In this key role, you will shape the growth of our business in the region while taking full responsibility for the commercial performance of your department. Responsibilities :

Business Development & Regional Ownership

  • Develop and grow the container board business in Middle East, including market research
  • Take responsibility for the performance and financial results of your department
  • Build and maintain relationships with key sourcing and sales partners

Operational Sales

  • Prepare offers and define optimal logistics solutions with back-office support
  • Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders
  • Manage international trade processes (trade finance, LC’s, logistics, and shipping)
  • Handle quality and major transport claims
  • Organize business trips and maintain regular reporting
  • Collaborate with our liaison offices as needed

Leadership & Department Management

  • Lead and develop your team
  • Manage sales, budgeting, and planning
  • Define departmental strategy and ensure proper credit management according to internal guidelines

Qualifications

  • Education

: Degree in economics, sales, logistics, business development, or related field

  • Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the paper & packaging industry (preferably Kraft paper), including a proven sales track record and strong local market know-how

  • Languages:

Fluent English (company language), Arabic is a plus

  • IT Skills

: Proficient in MS Office, SAP knowledge is a plus

  • Personal skills:

Strong, proactive personality, excellent negotiation skills, confident and persuasive communicator, target-driven with entrepreneurial mindset

  • Social skills:

High degree of intercultural awareness and willingness to travel
